How It Works

Purchase Smartsheet through Four Score Solutions. Invest in our professional services to build the solution right. Engage with us for at least six months — long enough for discovery, implementation, and a fair trial of the finished product. If after all of that you're still not satisfied, we refund 100% of the Smartsheet subscription cost.

The refund comes from us. It's funded by the services revenue we've already collected. That's how confident we are that our process works.

What's Not Covered

Purchase Smartsheet Through Four Score Solutions

We can only stand behind the experience when we manage the full lifecycle — licensing, configuration, implementation, and support.

Why: Proper license tier, pricing, and partner-level support from day one. No middlemen, no misconfiguration.

Invest in Professional Services (Minimum $80K)

This covers the full Sharpen → Swing → Sustain lifecycle: discovery, solution design, implementation, training, and enablement. Enterprise platforms require enterprise implementation — the grocery store needs the chef.

Why: Without proper implementation, Smartsheet is just a spreadsheet. The services investment is what turns it into a system.

Actively Participate for a Minimum of 6 Months

Attend consultations, collaborate on configuration, and use the platform as designed. A typical build takes ~16 weeks, followed by ~60 days of real-world use. Six months gives the solution a fair shot to prove itself.

Why: Enablement and adoption start at zero. It takes time to move through the LOGS cycle — Locate the target, Orient the team, set Goals, and Score the bullseye.

Provide 90 Days' Written Notice Before Renewal

If you're not satisfied within the first 12 months, notify us in writing at least 90 days before your Smartsheet renewal date.

Why: This ensures enough lead time for both parties to evaluate the situation fairly and explore every option.

90-Day Resolution Window

After we receive your notice, we work together for 90 days to address the issues. We'll fight to make it work — because we believe in the product. Tell us what's wrong, and give us a fair chance to fix it.

Why: Most dissatisfaction stems from gaps we can close. This window ensures no one walks away from a solvable problem.

Clean Exit

If after the resolution window the fit still isn't right, the refund is processed. All Smartsheet assets developed during the engagement are transferred to you or deleted, per mutual agreement. You can also resell remaining subscription time if applicable.

Why: No loose ends. A clean separation that respects both the investment and the relationship.

You can cancel your Smartsheet subscription at any time — that's between you and the license terms. But the Honest Abe Promise refund requires at least 6 months of active engagement because that's the minimum timeline for a fair evaluation. A typical build takes ~16 weeks, plus ~60 days of real-world use. Canceling before that means the solution never had a chance to deliver results, and we can't stand behind an outcome that was never given a runway.
What if my team doesn't adopt the platform?
Adoption is one of the Six Lenses of ROI we measure — and it's one of the primary reasons we require active participation as a qualification criterion. Our engagement model includes structured enablement, training, and change management designed to drive adoption. If your team is struggling, that's exactly the kind of problem we solve during the engagement. The 90-day resolution window exists specifically for situations like this.
Does the refund cover both the software and the services?
The refund covers 100% of the Smartsheet subscription cost. Professional services fees are not refundable because that expertise — discovery, configuration, training, enablement — is delivered regardless of whether you keep the platform. The work product has standalone value even if Smartsheet isn't your long-term fit. That said, the refund comes directly from our services revenue, so we are putting real skin in the game.
Why is there an $80,000 services minimum?
Enterprise platforms require enterprise implementation. The $80K covers the full Sharpen → Swing → Sustain lifecycle: deep discovery, custom solution design, implementation, training, and ongoing enablement. Without that level of investment, the platform doesn't get configured properly, adoption stalls, and no one sees value — including us. The minimum ensures we can deliver the quality of engagement that actually produces results.
What happens during the 90-day resolution window?
We work together — in good faith — to identify what's not working and fix it. This could mean reconfiguring workflows, adjusting governance, running additional training, or addressing adoption gaps. We believe in the product and we'll fight to make it work for you. If after 90 days the fit still isn't right, we process the subscription refund.
Can I use the Honest Abe Promise if I'm already a Smartsheet customer?
The promise applies to Smartsheet subscriptions purchased through Four Score Solutions. If you're an existing Smartsheet customer looking to expand or migrate your license through us, the promise can apply to the new subscription. If you're already purchasing through another partner or directly from Smartsheet, we'd need to transition the resellership first. Reach out and we'll walk you through the options.
